Pumpkin, Pumpkin, What's in the Pumpkin?

Students used estimation in all kinds of ways to measure their pumpkins, then took actual measurements to compare their hypothesis. Pumpkins were weighed to obtain the mass and the weight before and after removing the contents! The circumference of the pumpkins was measured, and seeds were counted. The next day we ate roasted pumpkin seeds!
